The result: The company gets even more money than before – and mismanager Lutz is in charge. Deutsche Bahn is the biggest bank in Germany, with a market value of more than €1.2 trillion. The company is also the biggest employer in the country, with more than 1.3 million employees. It is the second largest employer in Germany after Volkswagen.
