Daguan Lou, located on the north coast of Dianchi Lake, is one of Kunming's favorite scenery. Built during the Kangxi Dynasty of the Qing Dynasty, the three-eaves spire has a comprehensive style that follows the mainstream traditional Chinese architecture.

During the Republic of China, Daguan Tower was turned into a park, adding scenery such as "Three Bridges Dingzhi", "Autumn Moon Ping Lake" and "Three Pools Seal Moon" In October 1986, the then Queen Elizabeth II visited Yunnan and entered Daguan Park along the water.
