Bad Luck is a new volume of stories by Danish author Tove Ditlevsen. The stories tell the story of marriage, work, conventions and women in the working class.
The author has yet to be discovered in Germany, but her stories are now appearing on German shelves for the first time. A biography of the author, who was married four times, suffered from psychosis and committed suicide in 1976, will finally be published in the fall. The book will be published by the German Aufbau-Verlag.
