The Poetic Mechanics of the Senegalese photographer Adama Sylla is presented until April 22 at the Parisian galleries Talmart and La La Lande. Sylla emphasizes in his images a modern, urban Senegal where bodies and eyes hook us and are close to us.

The photos we present focus mainly on the decade of the 1970s, explains Marc Monsallier of Galerie Talmart. This is a very important decade since Senegal has exceeded its ten years of independence. There is a concern to document people as much as possible in their customs.
