TF1 has asked Newen, its production subsidiary, to work on a project to revive the cult series, formerly broadcast on France 3. The actors of Plus belle la vie were contacted by the production subsidiary of TF1.
Serge Dupire, the unforgettable interpreter of Vincent Chaumette in the soap opera, was contacted by Newen. Newen is reportedly looking at a new format with shorter episodes, about fifteen minutes. Rebecca Hampton aka Céline Frémont but also Laurent Kérusoré, who played Thomas Marci, had already confided that they wanted to find their character.
