Elena Mayorova was a prima ballerina of the Moscow Art Theater. In the movie, Mayorova played mostly non-leading, but multifaceted roles.

She is known to the moviegoer for such films as "Lonely Hostel", "The Forgotten Melody of the Flute", "Casanova's Cloak" and "The Seagull" She is survived by her husband and three children. She has a daughter and a son, both of whom are actors.
