José Martínez Olmos is a professor at the Andalusian School of Public Health in Granada. He was general director of Pharmacy for one year at the Ministry of Health.

He says public health is in crisis, but it is not something new because it has been dragging problems since before the pandemic. He is not optimistic that a state pact is possible because there are two different models of health that have the political option on the right and on the left.
