The Kashima Rinkai Railway, which runs through Ibaraki Prefecture, has been operating vehicles designed by the protagonist of the anime "Girls & Panzer" set in Oarai Town for more than 10 years. It was decided to repaint it with a different design by September according to the regular inspection, and on the 9th, a special train connecting the two cars currently in operation was operated to commemorate his retirement.
