Female student on the softball team of a high school in Himeji City, Hyogo Prefecture, who was found to have been subjected to corporal punishment. Female student was slapped on the cheek with a slap by a male teacher who was her advisor.
The student was subjected to abusive words such as "I don't need you," and he was cornered to the point where he thought about taking his own life. The psychological shock caused by verbal abuse and violence was severe and left the student unable to attend school.
