[HIGHLIGHTS] The Livret A earned nearly 20 billion euros in the first quarter, a record since 2009

This Friday, the Caisse des dépôts (CDC) announced that the Livrets A have expanded by nearly 20 billion euros over the first three months of the year. This result is a first since 2009, encouraged by the increase in the rate of 3% on 1st February last.

The preferred investment of the French benefited from a historic month of March, with deposits exceeding withdrawals of 4.17 billion euros. The cumulative outstanding amount of the Livret A and its cousin, the LivRet de développement durable et solidaire (LDDS), reached 535.1 billion euros at the end of March.
