The popular Bud Light is in the eye of the storm for a gesture of recognition to a transgender influencer. What began with angry protests and calls for a boycott of the brand has resulted in serious threats to the owner brewery Anheuser-Busch.
The controversy erupted on April 1 with the publication of a promotional video on Dylan Mulvaney's Instagram account. The influencer appeared with a Bud Light in her hand very grateful for having received a personalized can with her face to celebrate the first anniversary of her gender transition.
