Yangpu Port, located in the west of Hainan, has attracted the attention of enterprises. Five shipping companies signed agreements with the Danzhou Municipal People's Government to increase investment in Danzhou Yangpu.
In January this year, the expansion project of Yangpu International Container Terminal began construction. The total tonnage of international ships has leapt to the second place in the country, with nearly 500 shipping-related market entities to settle in Yangpu, according to the Chinese Shipowners Association.
