Within the framework of strengthening cooperation and expanding partnerships, the Chinese Ambassador to Damascus, Shi Hongwei, during his visit today to the “Nomu” Technology Incubator, was briefed on the experiences it has achieved since its experimental launch in 2023 and its departments, with the aim of benefiting from external experiences to develop innovative ideas and transform them into emerging companies, which enriches pioneering development thought in Syria.

The Syrian Secretariat for Development stated on its Facebook page that the Chinese ambassador listened during the visit to a detailed presentation presented by the incubator team and the advisory committee, which included the most prominent current and future work titles in which cooperation could be undertaken with China, which achieved a record in 2019 in establishing startup companies, which is an opportunity for cooperation in The field of entrepreneurship and startup companies, especially in aspects related to artificial intelligence, and strengthening and developing the infrastructure of technological facilities to reach a long-term partnership between the two parties.

The secretariat explained that China has been working for a long time to intensify efforts with countries and institutions to improve the technical business environment, which constituted a main topic of dialogue between the Chinese ambassador and the entrepreneurial project teams incubated by young people who presented their vision and listened to China’s experiences in this field, which will help them develop their projects to become future entrepreneurial companies. .
