The director of the industrial city, Engineer Moataz Qattan, explained in a statement to SANA’s correspondent that work currently is focused on encouraging sustainable development projects and renewable energies by preparing service, institutional and legal infrastructure, and providing facilities to establish these projects, in addition to working on expanding water projects to meet the growing need for it in the city. There is a great demand for allocating partitions, especially in the field of food and chemical industries.
In order to facilitate and simplify procedures for industrialists and new investors, Qattan pointed out that the principle of one window was adopted in the city, the residential city project was launched, and a number of residential units were completed in it, in addition to rehabilitating wells and pumping them into the city’s main reservoirs to provide the necessary water for industrialists, stressing that the training and rehabilitation center that... He explained that there is a constant demand for privatization in various industrial plots, noting that the city administration is currently serving the new expansion area with the necessary infrastructure services to complete privatization operations for all industrial sectors, pointing out that the facilities provided and investment incentives provided to industrialists have contributed to the entry of new production factories over time periods. far apart.
