Dubai-based real estate developer Nakheel has announced the first collection of Palm Jebel Ali villas for sale.
The company said its move follows the approval by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, of the new scheme for the Palm Jebel Ali project last June.
The highly anticipated launch includes four fronds topped by Coral and Beach Villas, offering eight unique styles each.
According to Nakheel, these villas are inspired by the beauty of the surrounding nature, as their distinctive designs reflect the splendor of calm blue waters, white beaches, and nature that residents will enjoy, while these villas are expected to pave the way for the future of Palm Jebel Ali, as a preferred modern residential destination.
Rasha Hassan, Chief Commercial Officer at Nakheel, said: "As a pioneer in providing modern waterfront lifestyles, Nakheel embodies Dubai's incredible growth journey and exceptional achievements in building world-class infrastructure and urban facilities.
She added: "The launch of Palm Jebel Ali to the market comes at the right time, as the island plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of the city, setting a global standard for waterfront lifestyles, and establishing itself as a global lifestyle destination."
Nakheel revealed that several leading international and regional architecture firms have worked on designing villas that connect the indoor and outdoor lifestyles that the residents of Palm Jebel Ali will enjoy.
The villas feature floor-to-ceiling glass facades, allowing residents to enjoy panoramic views of the private beaches, as well as a wonderful range of neutral colours with luxurious finishes to provide a tranquil setting in the exclusive frond neighborhoods.
The four fronds integrate physical health and wellness considerations into daily lifestyles, helping villa residents adopt an active lifestyle through its wide pedestrian streets, which allow pedestrians and cyclists to reach the beach through the gardens, and the design of the fronds focuses on wide green spaces as well as the creation of wooded walkways. Palm Jebel Ali spans 13.4 square kilometres and has the longest coastline of all Dubai destinations, located a few minutes from the city centre, with excellent connectivity to other Dubai destinations and to Abu Dhabi via Sheikh Zayed Road (E11).
Palm Jebel Ali will be Dubai's flagship destination in Dubai's fast-paced southern region and upon completion, will feature seven islands and 16 fronds, adding a 91-kilometre waterfront with three access points to the island.
Palm Jebel Ali Island will be home to more than 80 hotels and resorts, retail outlets and restaurants.
