Dubai World Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under the umbrella of Dubai Chambers, announced yesterday the opening of a new representative office in Singapore to strengthen bilateral investment relations between Dubai and Singapore, attract investments from Singapore to Dubai, and help Dubai companies expand abroad.

The move is part of Dubai Global's initiative, which aims to establish an integrated network of 50 international representative offices around the world by 2030.

The Singapore office is the 19th office established by Dubai International Chamber in international markets.

The office was officially inaugurated during a special ceremony in Singapore attended by Minister of State Ahmed bin Ali Mohammed Al Sayegh, UAE Ambassador to Singapore Jamal Abdullah Al Suwaidi, Vice President of International Relations at Dubai Chambers, Hassan Al Hashemi, in addition to a number of Singapore companies interested in expanding into the Dubai market.
