Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed attends 'Make in UAE' forum

H.H. Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, attended yesterday part of the second edition of the "Make in the Emirates" forum, which is being held at the Abu Dhabi Energy Centre for two days, organized by the Ministry of Industry and Advanced Technology, in cooperation with the Department of Economic Development - Abu Dhabi, and the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC).

His Highness inspected the exhibition accompanying the forum, where he was briefed on the pavilions of the participating national and international companies and leading local institutions that display the latest innovative solutions to support the development of the industrial sector, enhance its position to push the economy towards further progress, and contribute to supporting the GDP.

The second edition of the forum focuses on sustainable industrial development, reducing emissions, and encouraging the efforts of the industrial sector in supporting climate action in line with the goals of declaring 28 as the Year of Sustainability under the slogan "Today for Tomorrow".

The second edition of the 'Make in the Emirates' forum is a continuation of the success of the inaugural edition in 2022, which saw the participation of more than 1800,110 industrial sector leaders, and resulted in the conclusion of procurement deals worth AED 300 billion, for more than <> new products that can be manufactured locally at competitive prices, in various vital and priority sectors.
