Effective from the first of June 2023
«Federal Tax Authority» publishes a modified list of fees for its services
AED 250 fees for issuing a paper and certified tax registration certificate. Archival
The Federal Tax Authority has published on its website an amended list of fees for the services it provides, according to Cabinet Resolutions No. 65 of 2020 and No. 7 of 2023, provided that these fees will be effective as of the first of next June.
In a detailed table, the Authority clarified the fees it provides for 17 services as follows:
1. Issuance of a certified paper tax registration certificate (new and/or replacement of lost) for a fee of AED 250 for each certificate.
2. Issuing a certified paper warehouse keeper registration certificate (new and/or replacement) of AED 250 for each certificate.
3. Registration of a specific area in accordance with the provisions of Federal Decree Law No. 7 of 2017 regarding excise tax of AED 2000 for each year.
4. Registration of the tax agent in the tax agents register of 3000 dirhams for every three years.
5. Renewal of the registration of the tax agent in the tax agents register of AED 3000 for every three years.
6. Registration of an accounting software supplier in the Authority of AED 10,<> for each year.
7. Renewal of the registration of an accounting software supplier in the Authority of AED 10,<> for each year.
8. Submit an application for issuing a tax residency certificate of AED 50 for each application.
9. Study the application and issue an electronic tax domicile certificate for a registered tax with the Authority of AED 500 for each application.
10. Study the application and issue an electronic tax domicile certificate for a legal person not registered with the Authority, AED 1750 for each application.
11. Study the application and issue an electronic tax domicile certificate for a natural person who is not registered with the Authority AED 1000 for each application.
12. Print a paper tax domicile certificate for electronic certificates issued in accordance with items 9, 10 and 11 above (new and/or replaced) AED 250 for each certificate.
13. Request to issue a commercial activities certificate of AED 50 for each application.
14. Study the application and issue a commercial activities certificate of AED 500 for each application.
15. Print a paper commercial activities certificate for the electronic certificate issued in accordance with item 14 above (new and/or lost replacement) AED 250 for each certificate.
16. Request for special clarification related to one tax of AED 1500 per request.
17. Special clarification request related to more than AED 2250 tax per request.
