Bin Touq: The UAE's transformation towards a more diversified economic model based on business partnership

The Minister of Economy, Abdullah bin Touq Al Marri, stated that the UAE's vision for the future is based on promoting a knowledge economy and cooperation, and that the country's efforts to shift towards a new, more diversified and sustainable economic model are based on a real partnership with the business sector and the academic sector.

He pointed out, in press statements on the sidelines of a press meeting held in Dubai yesterday on the occasion of the selection of Dubai as the official headquarters of the Harvard Business School Club in the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, that the UAE has achieved many positive economic indicators, especially with the national economy recording a growth rate of 7.6% during the past year, thus ranking the UAE in the advanced global rank in the list of the fastest growing economies in the world during 2022.

He added that "the record numbers achieved by the country's foreign trade, exceeding the barrier of AED 2.2 trillion, are due to factors such as the transformation brought about by the UAE government's launch of incentives and development initiatives as part of the 50 projects."

The Harvard Business School GCC Club announced the opening of its new permanent headquarters in Dubai, which will serve as a meeting place for more than 400,1400 Harvard Business School graduates around the world, including <>,<> graduates in the GCC.
