Friendly Economic Reporter is here. Kwon, this seems to be the news for those who are planning an outing this weekend. How do you make a trip to the country with the money that the country gives you before the peak holiday season arrives?

<Reporter>
I can't use
it this weekend, but I'm going to win it from June. I'm going to show you some half-price travel discounts that are only available to up to 4,000 people on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you type 'every corner of Korea' in the search bar now, you will see a website operated by the Tourism Organization.

If you go to the Traveling Moon, Travel Trends Hall, and the places marked here, you will find travel products that are only available to the first 4,000 people.

It's a package tour. It is a group tour, a travel product with a program. It was developed by Korail Tourism Development and Yellow Balloon together.

If you go on a similar trip, it consists of experiences, transportation, and accommodation that may cost about twice as much as the market price.

There's a reason why the government is unwinding the budget that it has set aside to stimulate domestic travel right now.

As you can see from pre-COVID travel trends, June is the most off-peak travel season of the year.

There are a lot of outings in May. From July onwards, the peak season is approaching again.

So, if you look at it on an annual basis, there are surprisingly few visitors in June, which is early summer.

In fact, before Covid, I didn't have to take my vacation during the peak season, so my own tip was to take a vacation in June at off-peak rates.

The weather is nice for traveling, but it's cheaper and less crowded.

The information seems clear. In order to boost domestic demand, the government is offering discounted products. Can you give us a specific reason why?

<Reporter>

Especially with the end of the Corona crisis, as you can see, the demand for travel is being dispersed abroad to the extent that in April last year, international flights increased by seven times compared to last year.

I think it is urgent to maintain a certain amount of domestic travel demand in the next month, which is the main travel off-season of the year, in order to promote domestic consumption. This is why the government has focused on domestic travel discounts.

The first 4,000 people I just showed you are a group tour, so there will be a big difference between likes and dislikes.

If you don't like it, you can use a discount coupon of up to 40% if you book a trip right now at G Market.

If you type 'travel month' in the G-market search bar, it will come up immediately.

Usually, only 30% discount coupons are floated, but if you go into each one, an additional 10% coupon provided by G Market is added.

You can use 2 sheets at once. You can only use one ID twice. Each coupon has a limit of up to 50,000 won.

So, if you book an expensive product, you can get up to 100,000 won off at once.

In the future, you will be able to enter the banner directly from the main gate of G Market, but you still have to search for it.

These are all trips that you can leave from June 1st. Some can be used up to July 14.

If you plan an early vacation until
mid-July, it will be useful. On top of that, do you get discounts on accommodation and transportation?

<Reporter>
I don't like
group trips, I don't like organized travel products, I'll do it. They will be able to book discounted transportation and accommodation tickets from next week, May 24.

KTX tickets are also discounted by up to half price. There are also discounts on airline tickets, buses, and car rentals. This benefits 180,000 people.

Accommodation vouchers will be provided with discount coupons of 50,000 won and 30,000 won, respectively, and up to 900,000 people will benefit.

There are also discounts on amusement parks. I'll tell you how to find and write this one more time after the 24th.

The impact of domestic travel on the local economy is huge.

There is a project in which the government provides 100,000 won for domestic travel vacations to workers of small and medium-sized enterprises.

When I tried this, there is a tally that the people who received support spent up to 880,000 won.

You can buy food, go to amusement parks, buy souvenirs, and so on, and it can make money for the local economy.

It's going to be spent by the government or someone else.

If you had a weekend outing planned, or I wasn't a parent, it didn't have to be during the peak season or the kids' vacation, so let's go in advance.

It's good to travel abroad, but when I look back, there are so many good places in my country, and many people have felt it in the past three years. If you have a chance, I would like you to find a discount and use it.
