The price of a gram of 21-carat gold in the local market fell by 5 thousand Syrian pounds from the price that settled on it since Thursday, the eleventh of May.

According to the bulletin issued by the Craft Association for Crafting and Jewelry and Gemstone Making in Damascus today, a gram of 21-carat gold recorded a selling price of 495,494 liras and a purchase of 18,424286 liras, while a gram of 423286-carat recorded a selling price of <> liras and a purchase of <> liras.

The association set the selling price of an ounce of 995 carat at 18 million and 410 thousand liras, and the selling price of the 21-carat gold lira at 4 million and 210 thousand liras.

The association stressed on craftsmen to abide by the prices issued by it under penalty of legal accountability, and distributed phone numbers for complaints 0112248005 and 0112230766.
