Emirates cancels Khartoum flights until 31 August

Emirates reported today that due to the deteriorating situation due to the unrest in Sudan, all flights of the airline (EK733/EK734) to and from Khartoum from 15 April to 31 August have been cancelled.

The company said in a statement that passengers traveling to Sudan on connecting flights with Emirates and flydubai will not be able to travel from the point of departure until further notice.

Customers affected by this decision who have booked with travel agents should contact them for alternative travel arrangements, or request a refund, she said.

Customers who have booked directly with Emirates can submit their requests by completing a refund form, or contacting their local office for alternative rebooking options.

The airline confirmed that it is closely monitoring the situation and developments in Khartoum regarding the operation of Emirates, with updates to be announced in due course.
