After Taiwan, China. The Chinese groups XTC and French Orano will invest 1.5 billion euros and must create 1,700 jobs in a site related to lithium batteries in Dunkirk, in the North, announced Friday, President Emmanuel Macron, visiting.
"We have just signed with XTC and Orano the production of cathode materials for lithium batteries," he said during this trip. This project is in addition to the investment, announced Wednesday, of 5.2 billion euros of the Taiwanese group ProLogium in the same city.
