The Minister of Energy and Infrastructure, Suhail Al Mazrouei, stressed that the UAE's achievement of the first and advanced positions globally in five main indicators related to the Ministry's work system, according to the Global Competitiveness Yearbook report issued by the International Institute for Management Development, the Global Talent Competitiveness Report issued by INSEAD, the Sustainable Development Solutions Network (SDSN) of the United Nations, and the Prosperity Index report issued by the Legatum Institute, is a new achievement added to the series of achievements achieved thanks to the forward-looking visions of the UAE. Under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which have made the UAE a global model for development and prosperity.

He stressed that the UAE's acquisition of these centers is an incentive to continue the ambitious work of making the UAE one of the global leaders, a global center and a successful model for development, prosperity and sustainable development in various sectors.

He pointed out that the country continues its leadership and prestigious position among the top 10 countries globally, by leading the global scene in the indicators of access to electricity, road satisfaction, energy infrastructure, city management, in addition to indicators of access to clean fuels and technology for cooking, and the country ranked third globally in the indicators of total domestic energy production, sewage efficiency, in addition to sixth place in the water production index.

Al Mazrouei said: "The UAE has become a sign of development, prosperity and growth, thanks to its wise leadership that made the UAE (the homeland of the impossible), when it turned challenges into opportunities, and the dream into reality, and that the ambition of the sons of Zayed is great and their successes continue, and they will not be satisfied with what they have achieved, but will continue the march of achievements that support the goals of global leadership in various fields by 2071."

He explained that the issuance of global competitiveness indicators reflects the well-established principles established by the state since the establishment of the Union, which requires harnessing government work to serve society and its happiness.
