Under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, attended a ceremony honoring the winners of the 20th Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award.

His Highness crowned the winning teams from 18 companies and institutions, in recognition of their achievements in institutional excellence within their fields of specialization, praising the role of the award in promoting excellence and innovation in the business environment.

The ceremony honoring this year's edition of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, organized by the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry at Emirates Palace, witnessed a high turnout of institutions and establishments inside and outside the country, by more than 25%, compared to the previous edition in 2021.

The winning institutions were honored in three categories of the award: "Diamond", "Gold", and "Silver", after a comprehensive evaluation under the supervision of specialized evaluation committees, which include a group of experts in the field of governance and institutional excellence in accordance with the best international standards and practices.

Launched in 1999, the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award seeks to enhance the competitiveness and outstanding performance of the business environment in Abu Dhabi by developing systems and programs to raise efficiency and enhance efficiency.

The Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Abdullah Mohammed Al Mazrouei, affirmed the success of the 20th edition of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, which he said is "one of the most important initiatives adopted by the Chamber to form a work program and an integrated methodology for continuous institutional development, with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness of the business sector system in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and the UAE."

For his part, Saeed Abdul Jalil Al Fahim, Chairman of the Higher Committee of the Sheikh Khalifa Excellence Award, said that the 20th session of the award witnessed many qualitative leaps, starting with the development of its technical and administrative systems, represented by relying on the technologies of the technological revolution in its various stages, in dealing with the concerned participants and other partners and the rest of the categories interested in the award, in addition to managing the evaluation and arbitration processes, through advanced digital platforms, through its introduction of additional categories for honoring, such as the best entities in digital transformations and applications. smart, the best innovator, and the best leadership and strategy."
