I think the "filial piety" I will give to my parents for the upcoming Mother's Day is "pocket money."

Recently, LOTTE Members conducted a survey of 20,60 adults in their 1~62s, and 2.1% of the respondents said that pocket money was the number one gift for Mother's Day.

Gifts that followed pocket money included health functional foods (10.2%) and clothing and fashion miscellaneous goods (6.5%), which were not very high compared to pocket money.

The average budget for Mother's Day gifts was 33,6 won, which was 12.4800 times the budget for Children's Day (2,7 won).

The budget amount was different for each age group, with those in their 30s having the most at 36,2800 won, followed by those in their 40s (35,5200 won), those in their 50s (34,1700 won), those in their 20s (30,3200 won), and those in their 60s (29,7600 won).

In particular, those in their 20s were less likely than other age groups to choose pocket money (48.3%).

Instead of a gift · Many respondents said they plan to spend time with their parents without pocket money (7.3%).

In addition, health appliances (6.0%), digital devices (3.4%), culture · Across several items, such as concert tickets (3.4%), the response rate was higher than other age groups, with gift types being considered the widest.

On the other hand, those in their 30s are engaged in clothing and fashion miscellaneous goods (7.9%), while those in their 40s are engaged in travel · Tourism (5.8%) and health functional foods (50.60% and 11.9%, respectively) were more common among those in their 17~6s than other age groups.

An official from Lotte Members said, "Overall, it seems that gifts are prepared more heavily on Mother's Day than on Children's Day," adding, "It has been surveyed that people in their 20s prepare Mother's Day gifts with the utmost consideration and consideration of the most items."

On the other hand, it has been confirmed that the most desired gifts for Mother's Day, apart from pocket money, are gift certificates or e-coupons.

In a recent Timon survey of 700 people, 30% of respondents cited gift certificates and e-coupons as "gifts they would like to receive on Mother's Day, excluding cash."
