Yoon Seok-yeol visited the NASA Space Center to highlight our cooperation in space. He also said that the United States has attracted 7 trillion won of investment with our own money in the past three days.

U.S. Vice President and National Space Commissioner Harris was ushered in, as was Johnny Kim, a candidate astronaut for the U.S. manned lunar exploration program Artemis.

The two countries signed a joint statement for space science cooperation.

These included using South Korea's hydrogen fuel cells for space exploration and cooperation in the construction of the Gateway, a manned space station orbiting the moon.

When Korea's Aerospace Administration is established at the end of this year, cooperation with NASA is expected to accelerate further.

Korean businessmen and U.S. officials who accompanied the visit to the United States participated, and discussions were held on how our companies can enter the region and increase investment in Korea by U.S. companies.

The Office of the President revealed that during the three days of his visit to the United States, he attracted investments totaling $59.7 billion in hydrogen, semiconductors, and high-tech industries, and 9.4 trillion won of our own money.

That's Netflix's announced investment of $25.5 billion over four years, Corning's five-year, $15.26 billion, and the additional $6.19 billion of investments from six U.S. companies unveiled today (Feb. <>).

The announcement of the investment attraction was an investment declaration ceremony, and it remains to be seen whether it will lead to substantial investment contracts in the future.

It is also pointed out that as these investments will be made over many years, continuous management at the government level is also necessary.
