The Dubai Land Department (DLD) announced that 300,<> QR codes have been issued since the launch of the new "Content" electronic service within the "Trakheesi" system, which is represented in issuing a "QR Code" for any real estate advertisement permit issued through the system.

The department confirmed in special statements to «Emirates Today», that there is daily follow-up and control on the issued advertisements, to ensure their compatibility with the requirements of the new service, noting that it obligated real estate companies to put the code on the ads as of April 24, as part of the real estate advertising governance policy.

She stressed that no real estate advertisement can be issued through the "Trakheesi" program without issuing the "QR Code", stressing that the presence of the code is mandatory in all advertisements, whether read or visual.

DLD pointed out that the commitment of real estate companies to the new service prevents them from being exposed to any violation resulting from the publication of a real estate advertisement without issuing the code.

The Department called on dealers and investors not to deal with any real estate advertisement that does not carry a "QR Code", in order to preserve their rights, and to prevent exposure to any fake or non-credible operations.

The Department stated that customers can quickly and effectively verify the authenticity of the real estate advertisement through "Content", with the possibility of verifying by displaying the full advertising information on the "Terdi Dubai" website directly, including the information of the advertised company, advertising information, status and details of the property, noting that the link can be secured to prevent any modification to the data.

The service aims to enhance transparency in the real estate sector, reduce procedures and practices that would distort the real estate market, and achieve sustainability in the development and growth of the real estate sector and keep pace with best practices and international standards.

It is noteworthy that customers can scan the QR code attached to each real estate advertisement, to see all the information authorized to be published within the advertisement, and in the event that the advertised real estate unit is sold or rented, this scan response code will appear via a message that appears to the customer.

Real estate companies can also use the symbol badge by linking it to advertising platforms and integrating with electronic connectivity, as well as linking and activating it through the "Trakheesi" system.
