Digital Dubai offers 16 new services to citizens through Emarati platform

Digital Dubai announced the launch of the second phase of the "Emirati Platform" initiative through the "Dubai Now" application, adding 16 new services to citizens, bringing the total available services to 170.

According to a statement issued yesterday, the platform has witnessed the registration of 20,<> citizens in one month and the use of its features since its launch at the end of last February.

Through this initiative, Digital Dubai aims to provide a unified and comprehensive platform to meet the needs of citizens from the city's services, and give them smooth and effective experiences that enrich their lifestyle in an easy and safe way, within the smart and comprehensive Dubai Now application.

Citizens only need to log in to the Dubai Now app using the digital identity to show the Emirati initiative.

Mattar Al Humairi, CEO of Smart Dubai Government Establishment, said: "The completion of the second phase comes a month after the successful launch of the first phase of the platform, embodying the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, that the citizen is first, second and third in all government directions, and in translation of the directives of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Chairman of the Executive Council, First Deputy Chairman of the Dubai Council and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for development and citizens' affairs."

Al Humairi added: "Our focus in the (Emirati platform) is to add all the government services that citizens need before the end of this year, as directed by our wise leadership, and we seek to make the (Dubai Now) application a comprehensive platform characterized by smoothness and easy access to most of the services of the Government of Dubai."

He explained that the second phase included the addition of new digital services for citizens, which included the services of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, namely: the application for the addition grant, the maintenance grant request, the request for the maintenance of the institution's housing - the warranty period, the cancellation of an application under study, the cancellation of the approval request and the request for a debt certificate.

He pointed out that it also included services for Dubai Municipality, including: a request for public health pest control, a request for agricultural pest control, registration and presentation of Bonyan card, a display of approved contractors, in addition to the service of displaying inflation allowances for electricity and water from DEWA, as well as services for the Community Development Authority for Thukher Social Club, namely: food plan, sports plan, downloading books and events.

First stage

In its first phase, the "Emirati Platform" initiative through the "Dubai Now" application allowed citizens to benefit from digital services covering several sectors, including: housing and construction grants that are consistent with the "Housing Path", social benefits services, Al Furjan events, Esaad card, electricity and water support, and others, by accessing these services directly when they use the "Dubai Now" application with the digital identity, where they are automatically directed to the "Emirati" platform on the smart application.
