A hands-on facility for the movie "Harry Potter," which is being developed on the site of the former "Toshimaen" in Tokyo's Nerima Ward, will open on June 6. On the 16th, part of the facility was opened to the media for the first time.

This facility, where you can experience the world of the Harry Potter movie, is being developed on a part of the former site of "Toshimaen" in Tokyo's Nerima Ward, where "Warner Bros." closed three years ago.

The building will be approximately 3,3 square meters in size, making it the largest indoor Harry Potter facility in the world.

On the 15th, an event was held at the site, and it was announced that it would open on June 6th, and part of the facility was opened to the media for the first time.

It was introduced that you can enjoy walking around the set that reproduces scenes that often appear in movies, and that you can shoot footage as if you were flying around in the sky straddling a broom like the main character.

Toshihiro Matsuo, Vice President of Warner Bros. Studio Japan, said, "It is significant to be able to promote new entertainment facilities from Tokyo in terms of inbound tourism, and we want to make local people like Toshimaen proud to live nearby."

In order to capitalize on the popularity of Harry Potter, the local Nerima Ward is also working to revitalize the town in conjunction with the opening of this facility.

In cooperation with local residents and shopping districts, we would like to develop a magically inspired food and beverage menu and decorate the store to attract tourists.

The "Nerima Tourist Center" that is planning the project said, "I am happy that a new symbol will be born to replace the long-loved Toshimaen, and I would like to enliven the region by focusing on creating a mechanism that allows you to enjoy the magical world view."
