At this year's spring labor offensive, Panasonic Holdings, a major electronics manufacturer, has decided to respond to the full amount as requested by the union as an amount equivalent to raising the base salary.

The labor union of Panasonic Holdings is demanding a monthly wage increase of 7,000 yen, which is 4,000 yen higher than last year, as a base increase equivalent to this year's spring labor offensive.



According to people involved, Panasonic has decided to respond on the 15th with the full amount of 7,000 yen per month as requested by the union in order to respond to price increases and improve employee morale.



Last year we settled at 1500 yen per month, but this year is the highest level in the last 10 years.



The Denki Union, which is made up of labor unions of electronics manufacturers, has negotiated with 12 major companies to set a policy of accepting minimum wages of 5,000 yen or more per month as an amount equivalent to an increase in basic wages.
