US Kindrell joins the next generation of foreign direct investment

Kindrell America, the world's largest IT infrastructure services provider, has joined the Ministry of Economy's Next Generation Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) initiative, which aims to attract digitally empowered companies from around the world and equip them with the fundamentals to enter the market to launch and expand regionally and globally from within the UAE.

According to the Ministry of Economy, this step by «Kindrell» comes as an affirmation of the interest of international companies operating in the sectors of the future economy, to join the initiative of the next generation of foreign direct investment, as this was preceded by the announcement of nine new companies joining the initiative last February alone.

Kindrell, based in New York, provides innovative services to thousands of institutional customers in 60 countries and has been present in the UAE market since the first day of its global launch in November 2021, supporting the complex and sensitive infrastructure of the country's airlines, including Etihad Airways, financial institutions, government agencies, healthcare providers, national oil companies and commercial companies.

By joining the initiative, the company aims to play a key role in stimulating the growth of the country's knowledge-based economy.

The Minister of State for Foreign Trade, Dr. Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, said: "The Next Generation FDI initiative continues to attract more international companies to contribute to stimulating the growth of the sectors of the future economy based on knowledge and innovation."

He added that Kinderell's decision to strengthen its presence in the UAE reflects the attractiveness of the country's business environment for companies operating in sectors of the future economy, and enhances the development of the country's position as a global center for innovation.
