Japan Airlines responded that it will raise the base by 7000 yen in this year's spring battle.

It exceeds the amount requested by the largest labor union by 1,000 yen.

According to the company, it responded to the union side at the spring labor negotiations held by the 10th.

It is the first pay raise in four years since 2019, and the amount raised is the highest in the past 30 years.

Combining base increases and regular pay raises, we expect a monthly wage increase of 4.5%.

In addition, we are planning to review the wage system itself and raise wages for airport staff who load and unload luggage at various airports.

While passenger demand has recovered rapidly with the easing of border measures, labor shortages are progressing at airports and other sites, and the company hopes to secure human resources by improving treatment.
