DLD launches 'Instant Sale' using 'Smart Assessment'
Dubai Land Department (DLD) has launched the "Instant Selling Feature", which relies on the use of smart valuation in conducting real estate sales without the need for auditing, in line with the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda to launch transformational and innovative projects that contribute to consolidating the strategic vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to make Dubai the best city. Globally to live and work, and in line with the Department's mission to empower the real estate community through seamless proactive real estate services.
The instant sale feature includes sales of real estate units, whether apartments or villa complexes, located in freehold areas, through the Real Estate Registration Trustees Centers, with the aim of simplifying procedures and improving the experience of DLD's customers' journey, through the presence of all concerned parties to the registration trustee's office to sign the contract, while the sale price is confirmed through the smart evaluation technology for real estate units, followed by completing the payment of fees, and issuing the new ownership within a few minutes.
Sultan Butti bin Mejren, Director General of DLD, said: "The real estate sector in the Emirate of Dubai is witnessing outstanding performance and exceptional growth, which was represented by record results during the past year after the value of real estate sales exceeded the half trillion dirhams barrier for the first time in history, thanks to the directives and great attention paid by the wise leadership to this sector as a key pillar of sustainable development."
He added: "From this standpoint, the Department is always keen to enhance the infrastructure of the real estate sector with innovative initiatives and projects that contribute to upgrading the digital system. This new project will certainly be a strong motivation for the real estate sector to maintain this exceptional growth, and even achieve more records in terms of sales in the coming stages."
