His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, yesterday visited the Dubai International Boat Show 2023, which kicked off its 29th edition yesterday and will continue until the fifth of March at the Dubai Harbour, the Middle East's most prominent marine lifestyle event.

His Highness inspected the exhibits, which include a group of the most important and latest products of major boat and yacht companies around the world, where he listened to an explanation about what the exhibition includes in this session, which is expected to attract about 30,175 visitors over its five days, with the participation of about <> yachts and boats from the most famous international brands in the world of boats and yachts, confirming Dubai's position as a leading major destination on the global map of events in this sector.

During the visit, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum watched a number of yachts appearing for the first time through the exhibition, including the luxury yacht "Princess X95", which is the pride of the production of the international company "Princess Yachts", which reaches a length of 29 meters and has a maximum speed between 21 and 23 knots per hour, and can accommodate about 10 people.

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid stopped at the stand of Gulf Craft, which unveiled its super-distinguished yacht, Majesty 111, in the first appearance of the superyacht, and was briefed on the company's exhibits of the fleet of boats and yachts ranging in length from 32 to 120 feet.

His Highness was accompanied by His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, President of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline Group, His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Media Council, Director General of the Department of Economy and Tourism and Director General of Dubai World Trade Centre Authority, Helal Saeed Al Marri, and Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council, Saeed Mohammed Hareb.

The event brings together investors interested in the yachting sector through the second edition of the "Yacht Pilot Forum", which is the first time that Dubai has hosted this event, which brings together industry leaders and marine life stakeholders to discuss the most important topics related to the sector and its various economic and environmental aspects.

As part of the Dubai International Boat Show's commitment to sustainability concepts, this edition will see the launch of the SEA programme to support Dubai's marine life and showcase the programme of initiatives to promote sustainability in the oceans.
