Air Arabia Abu Dhabi launches direct flights to two new destinations in Iraq
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi has announced the launch of new flights from Abu Dhabi to Baghdad and Erbil in Iraq.
The new direct flights will connect Abu Dhabi International Airport with both Baghdad International Airport and Erbil International Airport with two flights per week from 22 June 2023.
Adel Al Ali, Group Chief Executive Officer, Air Arabia, said: "We are delighted to add new flights to Baghdad and Erbil in Iraq, and to expand Air Arabia's growing network from the UAE capital.
Al Arabiya Abu Dhabi commenced operations in July 2020 and since then, the airline continues to expand its global network and currently serves 31 destinations directly from Abu Dhabi International Airport.
Air Arabia Abu Dhabi closed 2022 with a fleet of 68 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft flying to more than 190 destinations in the Middle East, Africa, Asia and Europe.
The airline has also equipped its fleet with Skytime, a free in-flight streaming service that allows passengers to watch a wide range of entertainment content live on their smart devices. Passengers can also enjoy a wide choice of meals and snacks at affordable prices from the Sky Café menu.
