Recruitment of travel tours to the stratosphere at an altitude of 25,000 meters on a balloon began on the 21st.

The price is assumed to be about 24 million yen per person, and we aim to implement it after December this year.

This travel tour was planned by a startup company in Hokkaido and a major travel agency.

It is a one-day trip where you ride in a hot air balloon and rise to the stratosphere at an altitude of 25,000 meters in 2 hours, enjoy a sightseeing tour for about 1 hour, and then return to the sea after landing on the water.

The balloon has a diameter of about 40 meters, and the pilot and passenger ride in a two-seater cabin, and in the stratosphere, they can see outer space and the round earth.

According to the company, safety is ensured by using a special plastic material that is resistant to changes in temperature and pressure for the balloon and guest room.

The price of the tour is assumed to be about 24 million yen per person, and we started recruiting for 5 people from the 21st.

The first flight is aiming to be implemented after December this year.

At a press conference, Keisuke Iwatani, president of Iwatani Giken, a start-up company in Hokkaido, said, "You can participate without any prior training, so I'd like to make the experience of riding in a balloon and seeing the earth and outer space more familiar." was
